The story

Project F150 became LaFerrari, "The Ferrari," because Luca di Montezemolo wanted the company's fullest expression. Built for collectors as a test bed for future technology, it joined McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 in the Holy Trinity.^4,5,6

How to spot one

Look for

Front wing hangs under the nose from one central fin.¹⁸
Sculpted side surfaces wrap around and partly conceal the radiator intakes.¹⁸
Very low hood between pronounced front wheel arches; the nose slopes sharply down.⁶
On road cars, the rear spoiler rises from beneath the engine cover's trailing edge.¹⁴

Aperta adds a removable roof, carbon-fiber door inserts, a longer front air dam and L-shaped flaps atop the windshield pillars.⁵
