    Leyland 在防塵罩下尋回塵封的 Michelotti 原型車，讓計畫重見天日；量產版 Spitfire 隨後於倫敦車展亮相。13

  2. 1965

    Mk II：67 hp，四岔排氣歧管

    重新調校的凸輪軸搭配四岔排氣歧管，讓 Mk II 輸出提升至 67 hp。引擎升級之餘，車上也換上新廠徽與地毯。14

    Le Mans：分組第1名與第2名

    改款帶來擺動彈簧懸吊與全同步齒輪變速箱。帳面數字從 75 hp SAE 降至 63 hp DIN，看似退步，其實只是測量標準改變。78

    1500 率先進軍北美

    1500 首先在北美推出。後輪輪距加寬 2 英吋，提升穩定性，也進一步改善早期車款後輪內縮的問題。139
