이야기

1940년 Cadillac의 엔트리 모델로 탄생한 Series 62는 Coupe de Ville과 Eldorado를 선보였어요. 1948년에는 P-38에서 영감을 얻은 테일핀을 달았고, 1959년 Series 6200으로 이름을 바꾼 뒤 1965년에는 Calais가 됐어요.1

    새 Series 62는 1940년 Series 61을 대신해 등장했어요. Fisher의 어뢰형 차체와 129인치 휠베이스를 갖췄고, 러닝보드는 선택 사양이었어요.12

    January's chrome ban brought painted bumpers before production paused in February. Series 62s led the civilian restart for the 1946 model year.1

    완전히 새로 설계하면서 테일핀은 짧아지고 아래쪽에는 Skegs라는 보조 핀이 더해졌어요. 랩어라운드 윈드실드는 기울어진 필러를 적용한 형태로 바뀌었어요.8

    429 엔진과 함께 Series 62 시대가 저물어요

    마지막 Series 62에는 340hp 429cu in 엔진이 들어갔고, de Ville이 Turbo Hydra-Matic을 얻은 뒤에도 Hydra-Matic을 유지했어요. 1965년형부터는 Calais가 자리를 이어받았어요.19
