How to spot one

Look for

  • Early 127-based Fiorinos combine a car-like front with a tall, box-shaped rear body.3
  • Qubo: a sliding rear door on each side.45
  • Qubo: chunky wheel arches, side moldings and a huge glass area.4
  • Brazilian Fiorino from 2013: new-Uno front styling and Doblò taillights.23

Year by year

  1. 1981–1985 (first generation)

Most European cars got a taller 147 nose/lower intake in 1981; some vans got square lights in 1982; 127-bodied cars got a five-bar grille in 1985.3

  2. 1992–1994 (second generation)

The 1992 update brought Tipo-inspired styling; 1994 cars gained single rear side windows/panels and a fuel flap over the once-exposed cap.3

  3. 1997–2009 (second generation)

A barless European grille arrived in 1997; later cars gained a wreath badge in 2002, a Doblò-style nose in 2004 and a red Fiat badge in 2009.3

  4. 2013 (Brazil)

The new-Uno-based van replaced the Mille-era nose and gained asymmetrical rear doors with vertical pull handles.318

  5. 2016 (Qubo)

A smiling grille and revised bumper accompany a flat tailgate replacing the circular recess; the cabin gets a new wheel and instruments.1

  6. 2022 (Brazil)

A Pulse-style grille and darkened headlight lenses mark the Brazilian van's update.2

Don’t confuse it with

  • Citroën Nemo

Shares the Fiorino's bodywork; the front grille is one of the few visible differences.312

  • Peugeot Bipper

Almost identical to the Fiorino; look for the small differences in the front grille.12

  • Peugeot Partner Rapid

A rebadged Fiorino: the Peugeot emblem is the identifying detail.2
