The story

Built to attract younger buyers, the V50 put an S40 wagon on C1 hardware shared with the European Focus and Mazda 3. A Scandinavian cabin got a floating center stack; the front crash structure used four grades of steel.234

    Slimmer rear lamps gained LED brake lights; the tailgate handle, rear bumper and pair of exhaust pipes were revised.9
