How to spot one

Look for

  • Fastback illusion: the painted roof arc sits below the actual gloss-black rear roof.13
  • Mustang-style three-bar sequential taillights.3
  • Door-opening buttons and tiny fixed front-door handles replace conventional handles.4
  • A long hood, hooded headlights and muscular rear haunches shape the body.3

Year by year

GT adds revised bumpers, a dark grille with a lit pony, red calipers and a rear GT badge.6

  2. 2023

    Standard-range Premium gains 19-inch Shadow-Silver wheels with gloss-black aero covers.7

  3. 2024

  5. 2025

Molten Magenta, Velocity Blue and Desert Sand join the colors; Rally gains a Dark Carbonized Gray wheel option.9

Don’t confuse it with

  • Tesla Model Y (2026 Juniper)

Juniper uses a front lightbar; the Mach-E has hooded headlights and three-bar sequential rear lamps.318
