The story

Created to replace the 650S as the second-generation Super Series, the 720S combined a MonoCage II carbon tub, hydraulic Proactive Chassis Control II suspension and engine-cooling channels hidden inside its double-skinned doors.234

    Geneva debut on March 7

    The 720S replaced the 650S and opened the second-generation Super Series. Customer deliveries began in May.25

  2. 2018

    Track Pack sheds 24 kg

    The Performance-based package added carbon seats, a titanium six-point harness bar and three-camera telemetry, with no power increase.6

  3. 2018

    Spider brings an 11-second hardtop

    The December launch brought a single-piece carbon roof, no extra structural bracing and a 45 kg weight penalty over the coupe.5

  4. 2020

    Le Mans tribute gains a roof scoop

    The 720S coupe honored the F1 GTR #59's 1995 Le Mans win with a gloss-black roof scoop and five-spoke LM wheels; sales opened June 17.5

    GT3X wins Goodwood in 45.01 seconds

    Rob Bell won the timed shootout in the GT3X, a track-only 720S GT3 derivative freed from FIA GT3 restrictions.57
