The story

Replacing the 575M Maranello, the 599 GTB combined an Enzo-derived V12, aluminum construction, magnetic dampers and F1-Trac. Its name links 5,999 cc with Ferrari's Fiorano test track.123

    Debuting at Geneva in February, the 599 GTB replaced the 575M Maranello and won evo Car of the Year.24

    Two 599 GTB Fioranos completed 20,000 miles from Brazil to New York, with raised suspension and 4 mm aluminum underbody plates.5

    HGTE sharpens the chassis

    Dealers could retrofit HGTE upgrades, including stiffer springs, stickier tires, retuned magnetic dampers and 85 ms shifts in Race mode.36

    599 GTO: 1:24 at Fiorano

    Limited to 599 cars, the 661 hp GTO shed about 100 kg, doubled high-speed downforce and beat the Enzo at Fiorano by one second with a 1:24.17
