    E12 开启三位数字命名时代

    520 和 520i 接替 New Class 轿车，并引入新的命名规则：首位数字代表车系，后两位表示排量。46

    E28 让中控台转向驾驶者

    第二代引入朝向驾驶者的中控台，并提供 ABS 选装。1983 年，524td 成为 BMW 首款柴油车。7

  3. 1988

    E34 开启旅行车、四驱与 V8 新篇章

    第三代首次为家族带来旅行车、四轮驱动和 V8 发动机。1992 年，M5 Touring 加入阵容。16

  4. 1995

    E39 大举采用铝制悬架

    第四代的悬架广泛采用铝材。1998 年的 M5 首次搭载 V8，且全系只配六挡手动变速箱。8

    E60 引入 iDrive，M5 则迎来 V10

    G30 将 CLAR 平台与插混动力结合

    二月正式开售。G30 采用 7 Series 的 CLAR 平台，并推出插电混动车型 530e；这一代的 F90 M5 则首次引入四轮驱动。19

    G60 带来纯电 i5

    第八代于五月亮相、十月上市，在提供燃油动力的同时，首次为家族加入纯电动力。110
