The story

Created by PSA and Toyota's B-Zero venture for affordable city motoring, the 107 shares hardware with the Citroën C1 and Toyota Aygo. It seats four in a 3.43 × 1.63 × 1.47 m body, with three or five doors.25

    The 107 launches in June and is built at TPCA with the Citroën C1 and Toyota Aygo. Its 1.4 HDi diesel is rated at 4.1 L/100 km.12

    Urban Move: 1,500 for the UK

    Metallic Raven Black or Zircon Grey paint, air conditioning, red seat trim and silver cabin details mark the special; 1,500 are planned for the UK.6

    First facelift lowers CO2 to 106 g/km

    A wider grille and revised clutch accompany the manual 1.0 gasoline model's drop from 109 to 106 g/km CO2 and from 4.6 to 4.50 L/100 km combined.27

    Sportium arrives at 103 g/km

    The 1.0-liter gasoline special pairs a five-speed manual with 103 g/km CO2; white mirrors, tinted rear glass and 14-inch alloys distinguish it.8

  5. 2012

    Second facelift reaches 99 g/km

    The 1.0 manual now returns 4.3 L/100 km and 99 g/km CO2; 2-Tronic records 4.5 L/100 km and 104 g/km. Allure five-doors add LEDs and chrome.2910

    Euro NCAP falls from four stars to three

    Tougher testing criteria bring a downgrade from four stars to three, exposing the 107's lack of the advanced safety systems expected in newer small cars.1112

    At 51.6 mpg, the 1.0 Active beats the Volkswagen Move up! for economy but finishes second; the newer rival sets a higher standard for refinement.10

    The 107's production run ends after about 820,000 cars from Kolín. The Peugeot 108 launches in July as its replacement.12

    The BRSCC admits 2005-2013 107s to CityCar Cup. A fully prepared racer is estimated at around £7,000, with a dedicated calendar planned for 2021.13
