La storia

Nata per sostituire la Series III, la prima Defender abbinava molle elicoidali a una tenuta formidabile sulle rocce nella versione 90. La Defender moderna aggiunge la scocca D7x e le sospensioni indipendenti, con un comfort di marcia notevole nella 110.134

    Arriva la One-Ten con molle elicoidali

    A marzo la One-Ten sostituisce il modello Series III 109-inch, passando dalle balestre alle molle elicoidali ispirate alla Range Rover.1

  2. 1984

    Arriva la Ninety, poi la One Two Seven

    La Ninety debutta con molle elicoidali e un passo vicino a 93 pollici. Nel 1985, la One Two Seven aggiunge una variante con passo di 127 pollici.15

  3. 1990

    Nasce il nome Defender con la 200Tdi

    La gamma diventa Defender 90, 110 e 130, con la 200Tdi da 107 CV; la 130 mantiene il passo di 127 pollici della One Two Seven.15

  4. 2007

    Diesel Puma e sei marce

    Il Puma da 2,4 litri sostituisce il Td5 e porta con sé un cambio a sei marce e sedili posteriori rivolti in avanti sulla Station Wagon. Nel 2012 arriva il 2,2 litri.1

  5. 2016

    L’addio Heritage Soft Top a Solihull

    La produzione classica termina a Solihull il 29 gennaio: a chiudere la linea è la Defender 90 Heritage Soft Top.6

  6. 2019

    La Defender D7x debutta a Francoforte

    Presentata il 10 settembre, la nuova Defender abbina la scocca monoscocca in alluminio D7x al sistema Pivi Pro. Le prime 110 arrivano ai clienti all’inizio del 2020.78

  7. 2022

    Arriva la 130 a otto posti

    A maggio si aggiunge la 130, lunga 5.358 mm. Le moderne 90 e 110 misurano rispettivamente 4.583 e 5.018 mm.79

  8. 2024

    OCTA: 626 CV e 6D Dynamics

    Il V8 biturbo da 4,4 litri eroga 626 CV e scatta da 0 a 60 mph in 3,8 secondi. Il sistema 6D Dynamics, collegato idraulicamente, controlla beccheggio e rollio.2

  9. 2026

    Debutta Vertex; OCTA si aggiorna per MY27

    Vertex aggiunge paraurti maggiorati e pinze freno anteriori gialle. L’aggiornamento MY27 dell’OCTA porta la potenza a 532 CV e la coppia a 750 Nm.10

    Ninety e One Ten diventano Defender 90 e 110, con badge Defender anteriori e badge posteriori specifici per modello.5

  3. 2007–2016

    Le lettere Land Rover passano sul bordo del cofano, sopra un pannello senza badge; i modelli Puma ricevono una nuova plancia e le Station Wagon sedili posteriori rivolti in avanti.15

  4. 2023

    Il County Exterior Pack aggiunge grafiche sulle portiere e colori a contrasto per tetto e portellone sulla moderna 110.13

  5. 2026 model year

    Nuove firme luminose, fanali posteriori fumé a filo carrozzeria e una barra della griglia nero lucido di serie distinguono il restyling.717
