How to spot one

Look for

  • 1966–1967: a full-width grille conceals the headlights.5
  • 1968–1970: Coke-bottle curves swell over the front and rear fenders.4
  • 2006–2010 sedans: Dodge's crosshair grille dominates the nose.14
  • 2011–2023 sedans: wraparound LED taillamps stretch across nearly the whole trunk.5
  • New-generation Charger: full-width white front LEDs center on an illuminated Fratzog badge.13

Year by year

  1. 1968

Four round taillamps, small round side markers and hidden headlights; R/Ts add bumblebee tail stripes.367

  2. 1969

Grille gains a center divider, taillamps become long bars and side markers grow; R/T tail stripes gain an R/T cutout.3419

  3. 1970

Chrome loop front bumper; R/T doors gain rear-facing scoops with R/T badges.7

  4. 2015

LED headlights, a slimmer grille and a curved nose around the headlamp housings reshape the sedan's face.520

  5. 2020

Hellcat's Widebody becomes standard to accommodate the upgraded tires and suspension.5

  6. 2024 Daytona / 2026 SIXPACK

Electric Daytona has an R-Wing hood pass-through; gas SIXPACK deletes it, enlarges the grille and adds twin 100-mm exhaust tips.1315

Don’t confuse it with

  • Plymouth Turismo

Regular 1984 Charger and Turismo share the four-headlight nose; check the badges.9
