    E24 接替 E9 雙門轎跑

    一月開始生產，推出歐規197 hp的633CSi；化油器版182 hp的630CS則於二月跟進。3

  2. 1982

    車身移往 Dingolfing，換上 E28 底子

    E24 車身生產從 Karmann 轉至 BMW Plant Dingolfing，並導入 E28 5 Series 零件，全面革新底盤、懸吊、電子系統與座艙。13

  3. 1989

    E24 停產，8 Series 接棒

    E24於四月停產，累計生產86,216輛。大型雙門轎跑車級距由8 Series接替；6 Series車名直到2003年才重返市場。13

    相隔 14 年，E63 重返車壇

    E63 雙門轎跑讓車系名號復活，E64 敞篷車於 2004 年接棒。兩者皆採用縮短版 E60 5 Series 底盤。24

    E63/E64 M6 釋放 500 hp V10 動力

    M6 雙門轎跑搭載自然進氣 5.0 公升 V10，引擎輸出 500 hp，搭配七速 SMG III；敞篷版於 2006 年推出。2

    F06/F12/F13 開啟三種車身選擇

    第三代車系提供 315 hp 640i、308 hp 640d 與 402 hp 650i。Gran Coupe 於 2012 年登場，2018 年則由 8 Series 接棒。46

    G32 化身 Gran Turismo

    G32 以五門斜背車取代 5 Series Gran Turismo，具備 610 公升行李廂，平均減重 115 公斤。45

    全車系 Gran Turismo 導入 48V 動力

    七月小改款後，所有Gran Turismo都成為48V輕油電車型，從190 hp的620d到340 hp、700 Nm的640d xDrive皆是如此。7

    Gran Turismo 停止生產

    G32 停產，第四代車系也告一段落；6 Series 之名已轉向 Gran Turismo 斜背車。4
