会社を存続させるため、Victor Gauntlettはより小さく手頃なAstonを求めました。Fordの資金援助とWalter Hayesの後押しでDB7が実現し、Ian Callumのデザイン、TWRのエンジニアリング、改修されたJaguar XJSの足まわりが結実しました。25

    The Volante arrives at Detroit in January with a power-operated canvas roof; extra body stiffening adds 150 kg.7

    The V12 Vantage and Volante debut at Geneva with 420 hp, six-speed manual or five-speed automatic; Touchtronic follows. Six-cylinder production ends in June.78
