The story

BMW built the iX as an electric technology flagship. Its aluminum spaceframe uses carbon-fiber reinforcement, recycled fishing nets become floor trim and mats, and production uses renewable electricity.14

  • Oversized twin-kidney grille and unusually slim lights.15
  • Low roof, forward-set windshield pillars and a low window line give it a tall-wagon profile.315
  • Flush door handles and frameless side windows.4
  • Optional bronze exterior trim can look almost rose gold.512

    An optional M Sport steering wheel replaces the standard polygonal wheel; M Dark Silver cabin trim also arrives.16

    Grille surrounds can now light up, while a reshaped front bumper and extra body-color trim replace some black sections.2

    M70 gains M Multifunctional seats and a round three-spoke wheel; lower models can add them via the M Sport interior package.2
