Elise 承襲 Lotus Seven 的精神，在 Romano Artioli 支持下誕生，車名取自他的孫女 Elisa Artioli。鋁合金擠型底盤以黏合方式接合，再覆上玻璃纖維車身，兼顧輕量與生產成本。12
