Fiatとの提携後、SEAT独自のクルマとして生まれたIbizaは、スペインの島にちなんで名付けられました。1984年の初代はItaldesign、Karmann、Porscheの協力で誕生し、シリーズはSEATのベストセラーとなりました。15
