電気自動車での街乗りを念頭に設計されたi3は、LifeDrive構造によりカーボンファイバー製の乗員セルとアルミ製シャシーを組み合わせています。ケナフ繊維や再生プラスチック、責任ある調達によるユーカリ材を用い、サステナビリティへの配慮を室内にも反映しています。14
